Professor Saltanat Childers will come to Kyrgyzstan to talk about women support in family violence issues

The lecture by Saltanat Childre, researcher of the Center for Demography and Ecology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison will be held on July 13, 2017 in the office of UNDP.
The lecture subject is "Family Violence against Women in Kyrgyzstan: Assisting in Crisis Situations, Impact on Health and Family Development".
This lecture is a part of volunteer guest lectures from successful and talented compatriots living abroad, organized by the "Roza Otunbaeva Initiative" International Public Foundation within the framework of the "Mekendeshter" project. The lecture of S. Childers is aimed at studying socio-cultural factors that determine the treatment and reception of support among women who survived violence in the family.
