Training on «Bio-cultural diversity, traditional knowledge and national games» will be held In Naryn region

On November 18-19, 2015, training on "Bio-cultural diversity, traditional knowledge and national games" for teachers and heads of Jailoo kindergartens will be conducted in Naryn region.


2-Day Seminar on November 18-19 in Naryn will be conducted in the framework of the projects: “Think Globally, Act Locally- promoting environmental responsibility among children and youth” and “Jailoo Kindergartens - child development centers” implementing by "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" IPF, with financial support of Christensen Fund. Over 25 participants including managers and teachers of Jailoo kindergartens of Naryn region were invited to workshop.


The purpose of the training:

- Provide information on bio-cultural diversity;

- Provide information about Kyrgyz traditional knowledge;

- Provide information on Kyrgyz national games for children, games in Jailoo.

- Present knowledge, skills on plan development and holding games.


Training will consist of 2 blocks. Brief information on bio-cultural diversity and traditional knowledge to improve environmental responsibility among children and youth will presented during 1st block.


2nd block of the training will be dedicated to national games. Games will be carried out in practice, including games on ecology that will be very useful for the children in the future. Also, information about the importance of teaching children the national games, and its health benefits, and the development of the next generation will be discussed.


In addition, participants will be given information about the work done and the prospects for the project "Jailoo Kindergartens -2015". Reporting a video will be shown.
