«Environment and environmental impact on human health» Poster Contest. Contest procedures.

“ENVIRONMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ON HUMAN HEALTH”
Contest objectives:
- To contribute to the development of children’s environmental outlook.
- To help instill a position towards the problems of the preservation and development of natural resources in one’s native land.
- To encourage a sense of aesthetic pleasure in the beauty of one’s surroundings.
Requirements for the posters:
- Content focused on the environment and practical problems and solutions
- Should have an educational component (must have a slogan or call to action).
- Artistic and aesthetic value.
- Work should be apparent in the poster (with a limited amount of color).
- Style: Must have 5 centimeters of blank space from every edge on A1 sized paper (poster size); In the open space in the bottom right corner write: artist’s full name and age (1 poster – 1 artist). The poster should speak for itself: The illustrations and slogan should clearly display the problem and proposed solution.
- Any questions on the artistic creation of the posters should be directed to art teachers in Bishkek.
Contest participants:
Students of grades 5-11 in Bishkek.
Submissions will be received by the Bishkek City Mayor’s Office of Education to M. R. Kalygulova in Kabinet #3 (Tel: 61-00-91, 61-37-01) until April 5, 2016.

Results will be posted April 15, 2016.
Contest winners will receive awards as well as be invited to participate in The “Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva” IPF’s Fourth Education Festival April 22-23, 2016.
The competition is being held by The “Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva” IPF in conjunction with the Bishkek City Mayor’s Office of Education through the eco-project “Think Globally, Act Locally: Increasing environmental responsibility among children and youth.”
