Invitation to the “How to help children concentrate and develop self-control and self-discipline” lecture

International Public Fund “The Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” is conducting lectures on meditation techniques, which could be successfully used and integrated in the work of child pedagogy for the development of artistic potential, identification of hidden individual talents, improvement of child performance, the development of techniques for coping with stress, and for the focusing of a child’s attention on completing given tasks and individual assignments (such as reading, counting, games, etc.). 

Lecture on the theme: 

“How to help children concentrate and develop self-control and self-discipline” will take place on 17 December 2012 from 13:00 to 17:30 in the auditorium of the Kyrgyz National University named for Arabaev (ul. Razzakova 51 at the intersection of ul. Kievskaya, building No. 2). 

The program will consist of speeches by certified instructors in tai chi, chi gung, kundalini and ashtanga yoga with experience in Kyrgyzstan, Russia, India, China, Thailand, Italy and Great Britain. 

Short biographies of the instructors 

Maken Isanov, 2004 graduate of the Beijing Wushu Zhi Qian Academy, regional representative of the Traditional Wushu League in Russia (Ural) and Kyrgyzstan, Instructor of the Ural National Physical Education University from 2001 to 2006, has taught chi gung and tai chi since 1989. 

Nadezhda Isakova, 2006 graduate of the Beijing Wushu Zhi Qian Academy, pediatric specialist, allergist-immunologist of the Chelyabinsk National Medical Academy (1997), department of Physical Education Theory and Methodology and Eastern Health Improvement Technology Department of Ural National Physical Education University (2003) 

Olga Tarabashkina, international trainer of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhaja (2009), instructor of the international school of Sivananda-style Hatha yoga (2010). Olga trained in India and London and has been practicing yoga for over 6 years. Olga, A Kyrgyzstani native, has been living in London for the past 6 years. Now, Olga teaches local trainers in the international standards and practices of yoga and is also the author of books on yoga in Russian as well as many articles on nutrition, positive thinking, and yoga. 

Jamilya Jeenbaeva, an adherent of yoga since 1998, certified yoga instructor (as taught by Krishna Pattabhi Jois), since 2009 200 Teacher-Training Hours at the Yoga Institute of Paul Dallaghan. Jamilya has taught in Biskek since 2007 (until 2008 at the studio “Arriba”), from 2008 to 2009 in her own studio “Yogasanga Vegetariya“, which will once again be open for ashtanga yoga classes in spring 2013. Professionally, Jamilya is a sociology instructor at AUCA (2005-2009) and since 2009 she has studied in the doctoral program “local development and global dynamics” of the Università di Trento in Italy.
