Sanarip 50+

This is a joint project of the “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” IPF and KICB Bank. Project Dates: September 2019 - May 2020 The “Sanarip 50+” project goal coincides with the “Digital Kyrgyzstan 2019-2023” five-year digital transformation strategy goals. Project Objectives: 1. Create conditions for educational, advisory support to elderly people in Bishkek and nearby new settlements. 2. Provide population with information through media, Internet and social network sites. 3. Popularize the use of information technologies and mobile applications among elderly people. 4. Educate participants to use smartphones and show them the benefits of mobile Internet connections. 5. Train the elderly how to register and use social networking sites. 6. Train elderly people the financial literacy basics, and the use of the electronic wallet Elsom to make payments for utilities and other electronic services. Beneficiaries: residents of Bishkek, new settlements in Bishkek: Kalys-Ordo, Ak-Orgo, Ak-Bosogo, Ak-Ordo, Archa-Beshik, Ala-Too, Uchkun, Orok, Dordoi, Bakai-Ata and Fuchic neighborhoods. Project Implementers: 5 trainers from training centers and 17 trainers from schools in new settlements in Bishkek.
