Diary of early child development from birth to 7 years

Cooperation with UNICEF helped to raise the awareness among pedagogical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the heads of methodological centers, regional health services on the importance of promoting and implementing the “Basic Standard of early child development from birth to 3 Years and the early child development from birth to 7 years” by strengthening 80 new preschool education teachers on early childhood development and peace building. Mentor support and monitoring of the integration of peace building principles into the educational process in 13 pilot kindergartens were provided with the aim of developing positive equal interaction skills among children and parents (4 kindergartens in Jalal-Abad and 9 kindergartens in Osh). The capacity building of 80 new teachers of preschool educational organizations on early child development and peacebuilding was increased in pilot communities. In June 2018, the “The Importance of Early Childhood Development and the Prospects for Professionalization” 1st National Forum was held with the participation of 400 people from Batken, Jalal-Abad, Osh, Naryn, Talas, Issyk-Kul, Chuy, Bishkek and Osh cities, as well as international experts from Germany, Turkey, the UK, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the USA, Switzerland, the Aga Khan Development Network in the Kyrgyz Republic. The first National Forum outcome: 1. The draft Resolution of the 1st National Forum “The Importance of the Early Development of Children and the Prospects for Professionalization” was developed 2. “Strategy and Priorities for promoting the importance of early development, providing quality services for the early child development and the professionalization of specialists in early development”. 3. The Strategic Plan of the Intersectoral Cooperation Network was adopted to promote the importance of early development and the provision of quality services. Partners: 1. UNICEF 2.
