Poetry Evening "Zholukkan Kandai Jakshy" ("How nice it is to meet")

An evening of poetry "How nice it is to meet" will be held on May 22, 2024 at 12:00 in the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabayev. The event is organized by the Foundation Roza Otunbaeva Initiative and is dedicated to Mother's Day.

The event will feature the works of Kiulbubu Baibugueva, a distinguished cultural worker of the Kyrgyz Republic, a member of the National Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan, an honorary citizen of the Naryn region, and the author of the poetry collection "Jүroluchu Jүroktordu Oorutpai". In addition, the evening will present the works of Ainagul Bazarbaeva, a poet, writer and author of prose works such as "Umut", "Jurogumdumdun Eesine", "Badam Guldogondo" and collections of poems.

The purpose of the Foundation's initiative "Poetry Evenings" is to support the poetry of renowned and young poets, as well as to promote the cultural and educational recreation of citizens and guests of the capital. Since its establishment, the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative Foundation has organized 48 poetry evenings with the participation of 121 poets.

These poetry evenings are organized by the public foundation Roza Otunbaeva Initiative with the support of the literary club "New Wave".
