The first edition of «Book for Girls» in Kyrgyz language was published

"BOOK FOR GIRLS"

 

This is the first book for girls in Kyrgyz language. It is about hygiene, behavior, activity, about the growing up of girls from 9 to 17-18 years. This book will be interesting not only for the girls themselves, but also for mothers, as well as girls of any age.

 

There are topics with questions, for example, about “awkward age” to which no one in the family, even mother has any answers. This is the phase when the girl’s body grows and changes, and these changes can affect her character. In Latin, this period is called “puberty” - a time of growth and age related changes. The book is easy to read and will be understandable for everyone. It will surely become the handbook of thousands of teenage girls.

 

The author of the book is Baktygul Chynybaeva, a journalist. The illustrator is Elena Tchaikovskaya. The idea of the book, its content and publication belong to the “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” IPF.
