“Profiles of Courage” book by President John F. Kennedy was translated into Kyrgyz language.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy - the 35th President of the United States is still one of the most prominent politicians of the 20th century. His biography, like the history of the Kennedy clan, which plays a significant role in our days remains being a topic for many books and films. John F. Kennedy was remembered for a number of important events that occurred during the years of his presidency.

 

John F. Kennedy is famous for his books in the United States and other countries. The most famous of them, “Profiles of Courage”, was published back in 1955 and has since been reprinted 50 times already. The book tells about American politicians - Kennedy's allies - persons who have made a significant contribution to the development of their country.


On January 30, the Presidential Academy of Public Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic will present the book of John F. Kennedy in Kyrgyz language. The translation of the book was made by Tynchtykbek Chorotegin, famous historian and journalist.


The book was published by the “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative”IPF as part of the book translation program of the US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
