4-15 May – Training series for 15 pilot and non-pilot schools by local experts, communities of Osh oblast on the subject: "The mobilization of local communities in promoting the state policy of school meals in the Kyrgyz Republic".
Location: Osh oblast, district: Kara Kulzha, Nookat, Aravan
Raising awareness of local communities (including local governments, parents and activists) on the implementation of school feeding programs to optimize, including assistance in the organization of school nutrition, procurement, and increased transparency in the food supply pilot schools of the Kyrgyz Republic. Possible target groups may participate in the events.
The community will be informed about the progress and results of the optimization program of school nutrition, the positive experience of introducing new models of school feeding in the pilot schools, the experience of community participation in local government bodies and school feeding.

The Foundation invites all parents, teachers, educators, students, for a meeting with Lyudmila Kirilinskaya, head of the publishing house "Shikula" (Kazakhstan) and Anna Kozhevnikova, head of the project "Bamper" (Russia), who will talk about their dissemination of experience reading to children in their own countries, on the example of her own experience.
Placement of children's books in free format will be an alternative to solve the lack of paper books, in particular in rural areas.
