Press Release «Promoting Reading to Young Children in the Kyrgyz Republic» Project Activities

Within the framework of the project "Promoting reading to young children in the Kyrgyz Republic," there will be a training for journalists to strengthen the capacity of national and regional journalists to cover the issues of Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Early Childhood Education (UP) on June 18, 2014 in Bishkek.
During the training, participants will discuss the importance of ECD and preschool education in the light of the economic and social reforms in the country and the world, how to ascertain existing professional requirements for coverage of ECD and preschool education and to identify possible media in promoting ECD issues and preschool education.
Media representatives from all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic may submit applications to attend the event.
