On December 3rd, a “Read Aitmatov” Weed event was held at the House of Russian Books.    We’d like to remind you that during the “Read Aitmatov” weeklong campaign, readings will take place in schools, national colleges, children’s and youth halls, libraries, museums, rural clubs and children’s hospital wards. It will be mindful of the way Chingiz Aitmatov sounds in the different languages of the people living in Kyrgyzstan. Many partners were involved in the organization of the campaign – teachers, principals, professors of literature, artists, writers, TV hosts, journalists, people in theater, doctors and qualified people from your village, town, districts and regions. Every school and class should participate in the “Read Aitmatov” Campaign because Aitmatov’s works were and remain the foundation of our nation’s spiritual formation and growth.
