April 2 in grammar school number 48 held the fifth event "Caravan of knowledge: a mobile workshop of the natural sciences." The theme of the next sessions "Unfamiliar Bishkek residents: the animals and plants of our city." The representatives of public fund sustainable community development held this event "Yrystan" Dmitry Vetoshkin and Dmitry Pereyaslavsky. The event was attended by students from grades 8-9. Schoolchildren told about the kinds of plants and animals in Bishkek showed students living organisms through a microscope and water plants. Also at the meeting the students was presented eco-project of the International Foundation "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" entitled "Think globally - act locally: improving environmental responsibility among children and youth." The event was initiated by the Public Foundation "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" and organized in collaboration with the Department of Education Mayor of Bishkek with the active participation of environmental organizations. Similar events have been held in secondary schools number 84 and №77 settlement "Ak-Orgo" school number 82 located in the housing estate "Ala-Too", as well as in school №79 residential community "Archa-Beshik."
