December 18 - Dedicated to the Karachay, Balkar, Chechen, Ingush, and Dagestani cultures of the North Caucuses, this was the second event in the “Music – The Soul of the People” concert series.   Conservatory students and audience members were treated to dances, known as lezginka, folk instruments, and explanations of the meaning of various cultural traditions of Chechnya.
