Former president was made professor emeritus of K. Tynystanov Issyk-Kul State University.
This honor was bestowed on the former president for her exceptional contributions to education and science in Kyrgyzstan.
“Issyk-Kul State University was always a standard-bearer of education. All of us should care for our children’s future and find pathways to development with quality education. We need energy and persistence to achieve it. Remain a leader in education.”
Ulanbek Malikov, chief of staff of the Kyrgyz Government’s permanent representative in Issyk-Kul oblast, presented his compliments to Roza Otunbayeva and invited her to be a guest lecturer during her next visit.
The former president talked about the “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” IPF and problems of preschool education during her meeting with the faculty and students of ISU.
