An agreement between the Institute of Soil Biology, National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kara-Dzhigachskoy High School, Alamudunskiy Rayon, Chui Oblast
December 19, 2013, 06:002:00 p.m., December 12, 2013 at the Kara-Dzhigachskoy High School named for Karatal Tabaldinova. An agreement was signed between the Institute of Soil Biology, National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kara Dzhigachskoy High School.
The agreement established joint cooperation between the parties to develop students’ interest in the natural sciences through interactive lessons, field trips, and practical work in the Institute’s laboratories.
Representatives of the Institute, Kara Dzhigachskoy High School, local authorities, and the Roza Otunbayeva Initiative attended the signing ceremony.
Deputies of the school parliament conducted tours of the school. The school operates a museum dedicated to Kirghiz SSR police figure, Kuluypy Konduchalovoy, kindergarten, fitness center, and an art studio. Also, the invitees were presented with pictures drawn by art students. An eighth grade student named Avtandil kyzy Tahmina presented Roza Otunbayeva with one of her works.
Also, some of the high school’s faculty members and students made presentations on ecology and biodiversity.
"So, today we laid the first brick of our small academy," stated the organizers of the initiative.
