The Fifth Meeting of EU-CA Special Representatives/Envoys on Afghanistan was held in Bishkek

The
Fifth Meeting of Special Representatives and Envoys of the European Union and
the Central Asian states on Afghanistan was held in Bishkek on February 14.
According
to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic,
the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan and Head
of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Roza Otunbayeva also participated
in the meeting.
Participants
discussed current developments in Afghanistan and the UN-led process ahead of
the second international meeting in Doha. There was also an online exchange of
views with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime and Kabul-based diplomatic missions
of Central Asian countries.
