Football is the number one sport in the world. Millions of fans around the world love this game. Football is affordable for everyone - from pupils of elite British schools to barefoot boys chasing a rag ball in Brazilian favelas. In Kyrgyzstan, the popularity of football is growing from year to year. The number of football fields in the regions of the country is increasing; the national team of Kyrgyzstan is already playing at the international level.
Two foundations, the “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” and “Askar Salymbekov's Foundation” published a book on football in Kyrgyz and Russian languages, so that thousands of boys and girls learn more about Kyrgyz football. In this book you will get acquainted with the basics of this game, learn about football “stars” and look through the history of football.
