Residents of the Talas region learn the basics of the guest business

Within the framework of the "Mekendeshter" project on June 5-7, representatives of the "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" IPF, local authorities and experts in the field of tourism visited the homes in the Talas region, where local residents planned to launch guest houses for foreign tourists. Thus, residents of three districts of the region - Talas, Kara-Buura and Bakai-Ata not only presented their homes, but also received recommendations and tips on improving the conditions for opening guest houses and attracting tourists.

On June 7, a welcome seminar "Window to the World" was held for the residents of the Talas region, who wanted to develop a guest business. Each participant created email address of the guest house and got acquainted with the basics and peculiarities of email correspondence.

Within the framework of this seminar, on June 8 and 9, training by expert Z. Bayzakova on standards of quality of services, fundamentals and methods of pricing, new channels for attracting tourists, basics of marketing, documentation, basic preferences of tourists in food and cost calculation will be provided.
