Meeting with former Kyrgyz President

Earlier today (29th July), Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj officially received the ex-President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Isakovna Otunbayeva, who is visiting Mongolia to participate in the 25th Anniversary of the nation’s first democratic election. During the meeting, Roza Otunbayeva noted: “Kyrgyzstan is studying the Mongolian election experiences. Kyrgyzstan will have a parliamentary election on 4th October. This time we would like to use the electronic vote counting system which Mongolia is already using”. The two sides went on to discuss the exchanges of the electoral experiences and measures to combat corruption. Also, the ex-President said that she is also interested in the City management experiences, and she assumes that the development of the Ulaanbaatar in such a short space of time is the result of definite administration approaches.
