According to her, in the region, women are taking an active part in public life and various spheres of economic activity. "For example, in the industrial sector employment is 8.9%, health care - 20.3%, education - 55.1%, in the civil service - 4.9%. In the region, there are 1,958 women leaders, representing 16%, "- said the envoy.

Ms. Egambedieva also noted that from 1517 deputies of the city and local councils, 134 were women, accounting for 11.3%. "Today, in 12 districts and cities of the region deputy heads on social issues are 10 women," - she said.
