April 2, 2015 in honor of the International Day of Children's Books in the Bayalinova Library witnessed the next "Stars Reading to Children." The guest of the event was the famous singer and actress Cholponay. She read the children's works in two languages: Russian - fairy tale "Liselotte: hunting for the postman" German writer Alexander Shteffensmayer, Kyrgyz - "Men Korgon kyzyktar" Bozum Alyshbaev. NGO Bookstall provided these books.

Cholponay read a very interesting and beautiful, about 60 children listened to her with great attention. During the meeting, made Dokturgul Kendirbaeva - Director of "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva." She spoke about the importance of reading books to children for their development and encourage parents to give importance to this issue. "Without reading we get a generation that can not think for themselves, to analyze," - she said.

This project is implemented in 2013. During this period, the IPF "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" has conducted more than 100 different such events, which were attended by more than 3,000 children.

Note that the goal of the project - strengthening the capacity of families, parents, rural libraries through the promotion of reading to children and with children with the assistance of well-known figures of culture and arts, sports and politics.

In carrying out these activities involve a broad community, particularly the well-known media persons, politicians, artists, writers and poets for children, representatives of local communities, experts in the field of early childhood education teachers, as well as the parents and children.
