Winners of the first national contest of readers «Peace Through Culture»
June 23, 2014, 06:00The first national reading contest for children and youth entitled "Peace Through Culture" was organized by the Public Fund "Scarlet Sails" in partnership with the Roza Otunbayeva Initiative was held this month, June 2014.
The competition’s purpose was to improve the culture of reading among children and young people, support for gifted children and the development of children's literature in general. In the final competition was attended by 25 participants. Each contestant conveyed to the audience emotions, the promise inherent in the works of the great poets and writers, showing a high level of recitation, acting and speaking skills.
The jury of the contest: Lead juror was Amanova K. Jury members were Dzhamanbaeva TM, Karipova S. Narynbaeva K. I. Tarasova, Kalybekov N. Achkasova I., identified in each category the following winners:
