For centuries, children from all corners of the globe have played with dolls. Dolls are of great importance in the development of children, giving them the opportunity to cultivate important social skills and experiment with various communal roles.

Organized by the "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" Foundation, this exhibition coincides with the upcoming Women's Day on March 8th. Traditionally celebrated in Japan, the holiday is an opportunity to underscore the importance of toys, and dolls in particular, to the upbringing of children.

This exhibition gives you the opportunity to get to know dolls from different cultures and eras. About 80 dolls from the private collections of Bishkek artisans Tatiana Vorotnikova, Zoya Mambetalieva, Madina Tapaeva, Erke Jumagulova and Lyudmila Martynenko will be on display.
