Mekendeshter Forum 2014

We would like to wish you and your family and friends a very happy 2014 on behalf of Former President of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Isakovna Otunbayeva and of all staff members and experts of the International public foundation “The Roza Otunbayeva Initiative”.

May the year 2014 be filled with goodness, warmth, light, and active citizenship and personal growth for yourselves, your families and friends, and for all the Kyrgyzstanies at home and abroad!

We would like to invite all our partners, experts and com-patriots to collaboration in preparing and conducting the "Mekendeshter Forum (Forum of Compatriots) 2014: Investing in the future of Kyrgyzstan", which will take place on 25-27 July 2014 in Bishkek.

Many of you who took part in the Mekendeshter Forum 2012 may still be keeping pleasant memories of it and good contacts, yet we hope that you are also willing to take part in the upcoming Mekendeshter Forum 2014. During the time “in between forums” we hope that the small wave of “doing good” for our country and its future will be backed up by many participants of Mekendeshter. We are certain that you will suggest and help us implement dozens of projects already this year, that can help push Kyrgyzstan up and forward. We believe that your forward looking ideas will help our country remain free and civilized, so that Kyrgyzstan becomes one of progressive and prosperous countries of the world.

During the next months we are going to be in active correspondence with those of you, who are willing to help in preparatory stages of the conference of the Forum 2014. Please send your ideas about the conference programme and cooperation to the email address j@roza.kg. It would be great if you could pass this information forward to all who may be interested in participating in the Forum and to those who may have an interesting and useful project. Besides the business meetings, just as we did in 2012, we intend to organize and carry out a regatta and a cycling marathon at the lake Issyk-Kul. There is also an idea to organize a joint hiking tour to the mountains, as better than the mountains in Kyrgyzstan can only by our mountains.
