A gala event will be held to mark the end of the first phase of the UNICEF Girls in Science Mentorship Programme

On October 30th
the International Public Foundation "Roza Otunbaeva Initiative" will
hold the gala event dedicated to completion of the first phase of mentoring
program of the UNICEF "Girls in Science" project.
The event will
be held with the participation of Roza Otunbaeva and UNICEF Representative in
Kyrgyzstan Christine Jaulmes at the Shaiyr Hall of the Hyatt Regency Bishkek
hotel.
During the event
the results of the first phase of the Girls in Science mentoring program of the
UNICEF project will be summed up, and mentors will be thanked and given
presents from the organizers.
During five
months, 113 mentors worked with 800 mentees - schoolgirls of grades 7-10 from
pilot schools of Bishkek city; Osh and Chui regions.
