October 24, 2023, 09:48

On this day, Kyrgyzstan observes two important professional holidays: the Day of Diplomatic Employees of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Day of the United Nations.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the founder of our organization, former President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Roza Otunbaeva, on these special occasions, which hold a direct connection to her remarkable career. Roza Otunbaeva served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, holding the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on three occasions. She also served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Roza Isakovna's diplomatic journey began with her appointment as the Chairman of the USSR Commission for UNESCO. In 2022, Roza Otunbaeva was appointed as the Special Representative of the UN Head of State in Afghanistan and Head of the UN Mission in Afghanistan.

We wish Roza Isakovna good health and continued success in her current role!

May your vast experience, wisdom, and ability to navigate challenging situations bring peace to the people of Afghanistan! May our collective thoughts provide you with strength, and may your enduring dedication to Kyrgyzstan inspire your ongoing efforts!

With deep respect,

The staff of the IPF "Roza Otunbaeva Initiative."
